Superantispyware free edition review

This is my review of SUPERAntiSpyware free edition tool designed for effective PC malware identification and removal.

SUPERAntiSpyware is probably the best free antispyware software I have used so far, equal to Spybot Search and Destroy or Malwarebytes in terms of effectiveness. It was created specifically to detect and remove various Trojan horses, adware, malware, computer worms, root kits, parasites and other potentially dangerous software applications and programs. It is a simple, yet quite powerful computer diagnostics and malware removal tool. That being said it can detect malware, but it cannot completely replace powerful antivirus programs like Avast, Norton, Kaspersky, etc. However once I installed it, I was very much surprised by the numerous functions and usefulness of this product.

SUPERAntiSpyware is specifically designed to be compatible with other security products. That means that you can run a Real-Time protection along with, say, Kaspersky or Symantec products. It uses only about 500 KB of RAM (random access memory) when it is in protection mode, so your computer will not slow down significantly when the application is scanning potential threat areas.

The Professional version provides real-time protection against installation of new threats, scheduled scanning and removal of threats as well as additional in – depth computer diagnostics and protection from malware features not available in the free software edition. However, I suppose that for an average user the free version is more than enough.
