What Google apps ar there for Iphone or Ipad
If you have been using your Iphone or Ipad long enough you most have probably noticed how many applications are there on Apple’s app store I-tunes for free or a miniscule fee. Want to know all details about the weather? No problem, select one from a number of weather forecast applications, pay a few bucks or less and you’re good to go. Want to have a neat budget organizer – there are hundreds of them. Apple has truly been remarkable at delivering the best looking, optimal and user friendly revolutionary touch screen devices for personal and business use. Amazingly, they took it even further by combining the hardware with software in the best possible way, which made their gadgets much more attractive. Otherwise, who would want just a simple phone or tablet with basic applications installed and without any possibilities to enrich the device with additional gaming or business software?
Anyway, apart from thousands of Apple apps, let’s focus on a few Google apps specifically optimized for tablets and Iphones that you might find fun and easy to use.
Youtube
No need to introduce the biggest online video library with hundreds of uploads. Youtube is the app that being used in almost any mobile phone with the right WiFi support. I have even tried to watch a video with my own Nokia X2. It worked almost perfectly; all you need is a good internet speed.
Gmail
If you ever find a user who is still using some relic local mail service with crashing servers, you’d most probably tell him to switch to Gmail. Right now it’s available not only on notebooks and desktops, but also on Iphones and Apple tablets. Familiar PC browser like interface makes it even more attractive if you already have an account.
Google+
Google plus – the new Iphone or Tablet platform for Google’s social networking includes Huddle lets you send super-fast mass messages to the people in your circles. Circles let you share the right things with just the right people. Stream is where you can get updates from your circles or see what people are saying about things nearby. Pretty neat, isn’t it?
Google Search
As you may already know Google is the biggest search engine in the PC world and they are seriously thinking about taking their search engine into the phone and tablet realm. More personalized than ever Google search is being integrated in Apple gadgets.
Google Earth
There is no need to make introductory speech for that one. The mobile version makes it possible to view the Globe with thousands of photos.
Google Voice
When you want a quality voicemail service you either turn on Skype or Google voice. Only with Google voice there is no need to install anything.
Google Places
If you need a Chinese restaurant or an Irish pub, you may use the Google places app – the best application for finding public places (restaurants, cafes, bars) that suit you best. Moreover, you are also given the ability to rate them online.
Google books
If you’re a savvy Amazon Kindle user, you may feel a bit uneasy about the fact that over 2 million of Google books are completely free. More than that, they are available on Ihpone via Google books. Million resources that you won’t be able to read in a few lifetimes are at the touch of your finger.
